  • Login Go to google webmaster tools. If you are logged into blogger then this site will automatically log in with your google account.
  • After dashboard display appears enter your blog address in the text box and click Add Site.
 
  • After that you click on Add Site, the URL of the blog you added to Google Webmaster Tools. even so, you need to verify the URL of your blog first.to make sure whether you are the owner of the blog that you register.
  • Then select verification With Meta Tags.
  • After appear Meta Tags for the Verification Code Copy the code into your blog, How to Login to blogger then click Layout and then select Edit HTML. After that search code <head> though more easily find such a code Use CTRL + F keys. If you have found her <head> code and paste code from Google Webmaster Meta Tag Tool below it. when I click save the template.
And then back to Google Webmaster Tools page and click verify. after your blog Verified the status of your blog in Google Webmaster Tool be verified.

History of search engines

Search Engine Optimization is a series of processes are carried out systematically in order to increase the volume and quality of traffic through search engines to visit certain web sites by utilizing the mechanism of action or the search engine algorithms. The goal of SEO is to place a website on top position, or at least the first page of search results based on certain keywords that are targeted. Logically, a web site which occupies the top position on search results has a better chance to get visitors.

In line with the growing utilization of Internet network as a media business, the need for SEO is also increasing. In the top position of search results will increase the chances of a web-based marketing firm to get new customers. This opportunity is utilized a number of parties to offer search engine optimization services for companies that have a base of business on the internet.

According to Danny Sullivan, search engine optimization term was first used on July 26, 1997 by a spam message posted on Usenet. At that time the search engine algorithms is not too complex so easily manipulated.

An early version of the search algorithm is based entirely on information provided by the webmaster through the meta tags on their web site html code. Meta tags provide information about the content contained on a web page with a series of keywords (keyword). Most webmasters do manipulation by writing the keyword that does not match the actual site content, so that search engines locate and rank of those sites.

This causes search results to be inaccurate and cause losses to both search engines and Internet users who expect the relevant information and quality.

Larry Page and Sergey Brin, two Ph.D. students at Stanford University computer science, trying to overcome these problems by building BackRub, a simple search engine that relies on mathematical calculations to rank web pages. The algorithm, called PageRank, a complex mathematical function is a combination between the calculation of the number of links pointing to a web page with an analysis of the quality of each link.

Based on the principle of PageRank, in general can be said that the web pages that get high ratings is that many web pages linked to by other web pages. PageRank value will be higher if a web page that led to him also has a high quality. The value of a link from high-quality sites like DMOZ can Yahoo! or higher value than the combined value of one hundred links from low quality web sites.

BackRub is only a beginning. In 1998 Page and Brin founded Google, which is an advanced version of BackRub.
